Stuffing is the favorite dish of numerous people, and we usually prepare it during holidays. However, we will reveal a recipe for chicken and stuffing, with gravy poured, that can be done extremely easy, and you can quickly prepare it for dinner.
Actually, the recipe has been made by Cincy Shopper in a Crock-pot, using only 4 ingredients, and she posted it on her blog. The result was fabulous, and extremely delicious, easy dinner!
Jenny wrote: “I made this super easy slow cooker chicken and stuffing this weekend and I think it may just be my family’s favorite Crock-Pot meal yet. With just a couple chicken breasts and some Stove Top stuffing, we have a comfort meal that is so super easy.” She added:
“You could even cut this recipe in half for a smaller family. The larger chicken breasts cook well and can stretch far when serving with stuffing and veggies. The recipe is super simple and is so comforting for the cold months.”
This is how to prepare this simple but tasty meal:
Easy Slow Cooker Chicken and Stuffing
- 2 box Stovetop Chicken Stuffing Mix
- 2 lb. Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
- 15 oz. Chicken Broth (here is the recipe for chicken broth)
- 15 oz Cream of Chicken Soup (here is the recipe for the cream of chicken soup )
- Salt and Pepper
Note: Instead of preparing chicken broth and cream of chicken soup you can use cans (2 cans for each one)
You should spray the slow cooker with non-stick spray, and place the boneless chicken breasts in the bottom. Sprinkle a bit of salt and pepper. Then, put the cream of chicken soup and the chicken broth until you get a homogeneous mixture.
Pour the sauce over the stuffing. Put the chicken in the slow cooker, and cook on high for 4 hours, or low for 7 hours.
When it is done, spoon the stuffing onto plates, and cut the meat into smaller pieces. Serve with a side of vegetables and enjoy your delicious dinner!
